Trekking Trails

Trekking to Posadi Gumpe, the northern Kerala’s quite but serene hillock.
The trails are easy with breath-taking views of other hillocks in Kerala and Karnataka.
All seasons have its own speciality in this trekking trail. Monsoon is full of rains, greenery.
Winter is covered with dry grass in brown. Look far and you may see your faraway home!
December, January is the best month to watch the sunset, which is happening approximately at 6 o’clock evening.

Basically, Posadi Gumpe hill begins from Kudru Kanda. Because all these small places have its own names used by locals. If you are too local Kundru Kanda is the exact location, if you are from a little far away it may be Sarkutti, if you are from too far away, it is Sajankila!

Climb up the hill on a tarred beautiful road. There are straight pathways to overpass the crisscrossing road. While trekking up for about a kilo meter you will reach the first plains on the hill, which is culminating point of two places exactly the Posadi Gumpe and Atikukke, the lower part of the hill. Now you are on the hill of Posadi Gumpe, you will enjoy the place because of its pleasant air. Move on another kilometre on foots of the hill on the plains ahead towards the peak towards, Dharmatadka, another centre place.
